About the Adams Morgan Partnership BID

The Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District (AMPBID) is a nonprofit 501(c)6 organization established to enhance the quality of life for residents, visitors, employees, businesses and property owners in the commercial center of Adams Morgan.

Formed in 2005, the AMPBID, focuses on three key areas: cleanliness, safety and marketing. The streets and sidewalks are swept seven days a week, and our uniformed Clean Team provide a variety of other public space maintenance services throughout the public realm. We also employ a team of Safety Ambassadors who spend their shift out in the neighborhood keeping an eye out for problems and maintaining a visual presence to help discourage bad behavior. AMPBID promotes the neighborhood locally and nationally, and organizes dozens of events that engage tens of thousands of visitors each year.

Clean Team
Our hardworking Clean Team is responsible for maintaining and keeping Admo beautiful.

Funded in part by a grant from the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development, this grant has enabled us to provide consistent and strategic cleaning services 365 days a year since 2007.
Safety Ambassadors
Adams Morgan is home to some of the most vibrant and bustling nightlife in the District of Columbia. AMPBID employs a team of Safety Ambassadors who patrol the neighborhood 7 days a week with coverage from noon until 11pm most days. On a daily basis our safety team checks in with businesses, assists visitors, reports public space issues for maintenance, and helps to connect unhoused people with needed services.
Events & Marketing
AMPBID’s weekly newsletter, social media, and printed collateral increase awareness of activities in Adams Morgan for business owners, property owners and residents alike.

Dozens of creative and fun events draw families, music-lovers, cyclists, young professionals, and residents from around the region each year. More than 10035,000 people engaged in Adams Morgan events in 202417 alone.
