Spooky Science Week at Because Science
A full week of spooky fun at Because Science! Join us October 19–25 for hands-on crafts, creepy creations, science experiments, pumpkin carving, and our special Spooky Science Festival. There’s something for everyone, from free activities to hands-on craft workshops!

Each day of Spooky Science Week features a different Halloween-inspired activity. Come create, experiment, explore, and celebrate the spooky season with us!
Monday, October 19 – Friday, October 23
BYO Pumpkin Carving — FREE
4:00–6:00 PM
Bring your own pumpkin and join us for some Halloween carving fun! Get creative with your design, carve your pumpkin, and enjoy a festive hands-on activity perfect for getting into the Halloween spirit.
All carving tools provided by us—bring your own pumpkin and make it your own!

Tuesday, October 20
DIY Terror-arium — $16–$39
4:00–6:00 PM
Create your very own spooky terror-arium! Build a creepy miniature world filled with eerie details and Halloween-inspired elements.
Choose from a variety of options to create a terror-arium that’s uniquely yours, then take your spooky creation home to enjoy all season long.
Basic Spooky Terrarium – $16: Includes a 4-inch container, terrarium materials, and spooky Halloween decorations.
Living Halloween Terrarium – $39: Includes a 6-inch container, live plants, terrarium materials, and Halloween decorations.

DIY Ghoulish Gemstone Test Tube — $9

Make it your own with creepy colors and Halloween flair, then take your finished creation home!

Scaredy Cat Ornament Painting — $9
4:00–6:00 PM
Paint and decorate your very own Scaredy Cat ornament! Get creative with colors, patterns, and spooky details as you transform your ornament into a fun Halloween decoration.
Once your masterpiece is complete, take it home to display for the Halloween season.

Witch’s Brew Lava Lamp — $9
